It shocks me that more people don't know about the 100 Speed standard. Those poor fools.. Most of everything else Is optional, speed, str, int are the most helpful. Also, dont take more than 1 magic skill in any of your class picks. I recommend restoration because it is the hardest to level. The other 5 you can grind for, significantly faster.

Also yeah the Mantellan Crux actually exists on a corner of the map in the middle of the ocean. If you teleport to your boat, you can jump off the edge in a certain direction and get there eventually. Just a little door in a mound like a lot of the rando dungeons

You half figured it out. When you go into Mynisera's room, it's not arcane political dealings that piss of the guards, it's just trespassing. The guard you have to talk to to enter the throne room even says this explicitly. You're not permitted to open any doors attached to the throne room.
